The Revitaco platform is designed to support care home operators in delivering high-quality care through efficient documentation, compliance management, and communication. This Policy ensures the platform is used appropriately and safely.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use the Platform for:

  • Recording and managing resident care information
  • Creating and maintaining care plans and assessments
  • Managing medication administration records (eMAR)
  • Documenting incidents and generating reports
  • Communicating with residents' families through the family portal
  • Managing staff schedules and handovers
  • Tracking compliance with CQC and other regulatory requirements
  • Generating reports for regulatory bodies and healthcare professionals

3. Prohibited Uses

You must not:

3.1 Security and Access

  • Share login credentials or allow unauthorised access
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access controls
  • Use automated tools to access the Platform without permission
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure

3.2 Content and Data

  • Input false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Store or transmit content that infringes third-party rights
  • Use the Platform for purposes unrelated to care provision
  • Access or attempt to access data belonging to other organisations

3.3 Legal and Regulatory

  • Use the Platform in violation of any applicable laws
  • Breach data protection regulations (UK GDPR, DPA 2018)
  • Fail to maintain appropriate records as required by CQC
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

3.4 Platform Integrity

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract Platform source code
  • Copy, modify, or distribute Platform software
  • Remove or alter proprietary notices or labels
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Platform

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Account Security

  • Use strong, unique passwords for your account
  • Enable multi-factor authentication where available
  • Log out when using shared or public devices
  • Report suspected security breaches immediately

4.2 Data Accuracy

  • Enter accurate and complete information
  • Review records regularly for accuracy
  • Correct errors promptly when discovered
  • Follow your organisation's documentation policies

4.3 Professional Standards

  • Use the Platform in accordance with professional codes of conduct
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and dignity
  • Document care objectively and professionally
  • Follow appropriate information governance practices

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor Platform usage for security and compliance purposes
  • Investigate suspected violations of this Policy
  • Remove content that violates this Policy
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations
  • Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
